We are seeking a highly motivated Engineering Parts Logistics Specialist to join a dynamic Product Engineering Operations environment, supporting prototype vehicle build preparation based in Coventry, UK. This team plays a vital role as a bridge between Vehicle Programme, Engineering, and Manufacturing, ensuring the seamless delivery of parts required for pre-production builds. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge automotive programmes within a fast-paced, evolving product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage delivery commitments from external suppliers to support pre-production build schedules
  • Ensure all parts are tracked from dispatch through to receipt at internal storage locations
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and proactively resolve supply issues
  • Coordinate transport and ensure collections are delivered on time using cost-effective methods
  • Negotiate delivery timing, production slots, and priorities with both external suppliers and internal manufacturing functions
  • Support export of engineering materials and supply chain activities related to prototype builds
  • Lead supplier review meetings and elevate risks impacting build schedules
  • Present programme delivery status and performance updates to senior stakeholders
