We are seeking a talented Vehicle Architecture Development Engineer to join our team on a 1-year contract. As a VA Engineer, you will be responsible for establishing and delivering the fundamental layout of vehicles, including dimensions, mass balance, occupant positions, accommodation, and mechanical arrangement with geometrical compatibility. You will be the first engineering team involved in the programme, with involvement continuing to Job#1 and beyond.
Ensure dimensions, mass balance, occupant positions, and accommodation are met.
- Develop mechanical arrangements with geometrical compatibility.
- Excellent project and people management skills, with tenacity in resolving issues.
- Knowledge of FEDE, PLM, CAE, CAD, Auros – E2KS, and Digital Buck tools.
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle variants and configurations.
Degree in an Engineering discipline.
