We are seeking an experienced Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) to support project development activities for the D328eco Aircraft, Deutsche Aerospace in Munich.
Responsibilities
- Act as an authorized signatory to provide an independent check of "showing of compliance" documents produced by design teams.
- Approve and sign off on all compliance documents, including test programmes, test reports, and stress analyses.
- Interface and act as the primary technical point of contact with aviation authorities (e.g. EASA) during the certification process.
- Approve technical manuals, including the Aircraft Flight Manual and Airworthiness Limitations, to ensure they meet safety and environmental protection requirements.
- Agree upon test programmes and sign subsequent test reports to confirm that testing has successfully demonstrated compliance with certification goals.
Qualifications
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering is standard.
Essential Skills
- Regulatory Knowledge: Expertise in airworthiness regulations such as CS‑25 and Part 21 Sub part J. Deep knowledge of ATA 32.
- System Integration: Ensure mechanical and hydraulic landing gear systems are correctly integrated into the air‑frame.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct or verify performance and sizing analysis for landing gear components.
- Supplier Oversight: Manage technical relationships with suppliers, taking responsibility for the verification of their design and qualification work.
- Specialised Systems: Oversight of wheels, tyres, brakes, and electrical indicating systems (e.g., proximity sensors and gear‑lock indicators). Working knowledge of hydraulic Power (ATA 29) and electrical power systems (ATA 24).
