We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Governance Lead to support the Business Manager and help drive effective operations across Vehicle Architecture and Vehicle Engineering. This is a key role focused on governance, communication, and business support—ensuring smooth day-to-day functionality while contributing to strategic alignment and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Manager Support
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and key business materials
- Track KPIs, actions, and deliverables, ensuring visibility and progress
- Communications & Engagement
- Develop and deliver clear, engaging communications to internal stakeholders
- Manage communication channels, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Support the creation of newsletters, intranet content, and presentations
- Content Development
- Maintain and develop content across communication platforms
- Ensure alignment with business objectives and brand guidelines
- Contribute to training materials, process documentation, and knowledge sharing
- Coordinate and deliver Technical Spotlights and Lunch & Learns across all sites
- Event & Stakeholder Coordination
- Organise meetings, workshops, and communication events
- Manage logistics including venues, equipment, and attendee coordination
- Prepare and distribute materials and follow-ups
- Purchase Order & Financial Administration
- Manage purchase orders for events and related activities
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Diary & Planning Management
- Maintain an annual governance calendar of key milestones and deadlines
- Optimise scheduling to maximise efficiency
- Process & SharePoint Management
- Document and maintain process maps, work instructions, and best practices
- Ensure accessibility and regular updates of business information
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar administrative or governance role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience in purchase order processing and financial administration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Experience documenting processes.
- Experience with diary management.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies.
