Seeking a Business Analyst with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM expertise, Agile delivery experience, and insurance domain knowledge. The ideal candidate will bring experience with insurance underwriting processes and the ability to translate complex business processes into clear, actionable requirements for Dynamics 365 solution. This role works closely with business, technical, and vendor stakeholders to support high‑value, long‑cycle insurance business, with a focus on marine insurance.
Responsibilities
- Lead analysis of business processes and data to identify improvement opportunities across insurance underwriting journeys.
- Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements, translating underwriting and commercial insurance processes into requirements for Dynamics 365 CRM (D365) within an Agile delivery framework.
- Collaborate with commercial, operations, and development teams as part of cross‑functional Agile teams to ensure requirements align with business objectives.
- Map complex end‑to‑end user journeys, including underwriting decision flows and policy lifecycle processes.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and shared understanding.
- Support D365 CRM enhancement initiatives by validating requirements, supporting testing, and ensuring solutions meet business needs.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for product and process improvement.
Qualifications
- BCS Business Analysis International Diploma (or equivalent).
Essential Skills
- Strong understanding of long‑cycle B2B insurance sales and underwriting decision‑making.
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, including translating business needs into system requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business processes into clear, structured requirements and user stories.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills, with the confidence to work across business and technical teams.
Experience
- Experience working on commercial insurance lines, ideally vehicle, marine, or other high‑value asset insurance.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the insurance sector, with strong knowledge of underwriting processes.
