We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive BoM Engineer to join our Product Information team on a contract basis in Gaydon. This role plays a key part in the early phases of programme development, supporting the creation, configuration, and validation of Bills of Material (BoMs) across multiple vehicle lines and global manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the setup and modification of Bills of Material in both legacy and future systems.
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams across Centres of Competence (CoCs) to guide and support BoM creation.
  • Conduct quality checks including commodity audits and large-scale validation events.
  • Challenge inputs and proactively gather information from stakeholders to ensure BoM accuracy and completeness.
  • Support programme gateways by delivering coherent and validated BoMs.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Previous experience with BoM management is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
