Expleo is a leading Global Engineering Services Provider with a global presence. We are seeking a Powertrain Definition Technical Analysis to provide support to the Powertrain team. This activity is mainly remote based with some travel to our client’s Preston facility.
Job Details
- Wiring harness design, cabling layouts, and routing.
- Create and update electrical schematics and documentation.
- Produce electrical layouts in CAD.
- Support the senior electrical engineer with day-to-day project work.
- Operate independently when the supervising engineer isn't available.
- Help with hands-on prototyping or basic testing where needed.
- Contribute to general engineering tasks within a small, fast-moving team.
Experience Required
- Around 5 years' experience in an electrical engineering job.
- Hands-on exposure to EDS work - wiring harnesses, cabling, routing or similar.
- Comfortable using CAD tools for electrical layout work.
- Strong communication skills and able to work with both electrical and mechanical teams.
- Reliable, organised, and confident taking responsibility for your own workload.
