Expleo is recruiting experienced Software Testing Engineers to support one of our premium automotive customers based in Castle Bromwich. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a major digital transformation programme within a world-class manufacturing environment.
Role Overview
Working under the guidance of the Test Manager, you will join a site-based testing team (with occasional cross-site support as needed). Your focus will be on delivering User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Production Acceptance Testing (PAT) for systems that impact manufacturing execution, quality processes, and operational reporting. You will coordinate activities across the test phases, ensuring that business requirements are met and that all governance and compliance criteria are fulfilled.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitating governance readiness sessions to assess suitability to enter each test phase
- Creating and executing appropriate manual UAT and PAT test scenarios and scripts
- Using test management tooling (primarily HP ALM; some Jira instances may be involved) to capture and evidence the UAT/PAT results
- Recording and tracking defects to resolution through a standard process
- Engaging with stakeholders to support testing and reporting on progress
- Contributing to, or preparing, Test Completion Reports
Experience Required
- 5+ yearsβ experience in a similar Test Analyst role, including UAT experience
- Experience in Manufacturing (Desirable)
- Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders, including those unfamiliar with structured testing processes
Skills
- Proficient with HP ALM and Jira (Jira desirable)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (Desirable)
- Strong analytical skills (e.g., statistical analysis, data flow testing)
- Experience with Waterfall or Agile delivery methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc.)
Education
Qualified to ISTQB (or ISEB) Foundation level
