An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Manufacturing Systems Trainer to support the launch of a new, advanced specialist manufacturing facility. This role sits within a dynamic Business Systems Delivery team responsible for bridging technical delivery with business-wide adoption of new digital manufacturing technologies. You will play a pivotal part in ensuring new systems, tools, and processes are understood, embraced, and successfully integrated across the organisation.

About the Role
As a Manufacturing Systems Trainer, you will support the deployment of new digital and manufacturing capabilities by preparing end users, delivering training, and ensuring that changes are adopted effectively. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams to enable smooth, high‑quality system rollouts.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Design & Delivery
- Create and deliver blended learning packages (classroom, virtual, e‑learning).
- Build high‑quality training materials including courses, assessments, videos, simulations and quick reference guides.
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
- Deliver on‑site and off‑site training sessions across multiple locations.
- Evaluate user learning and assess competency levels.
- Support the successful deployment of system releases to end users.
- Monitor and manage change impacts across the organisation.
- Identify and onboard Early Adopters and Super Users.
- Develop training and engagement plans tailored to stakeholders.
- Manage user access and ensure readiness ahead of each release.
- Collaborate with business process owners, testing teams, system specialists, trainers, and communications colleagues.
- Align stakeholders and ensure training delivery plans are clear, agreed, and executed on time.
- Demonstrate excellent team working and professional behaviours.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Strong technical mindset with the ability to simplify complex information.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- High standard of written materials and documentation.
- Experience working cross‑functionally and collaboratively.
- Exposure to manufacturing environments.
- Competent with Microsoft Office tools.
- Confident speaking and presenting to different audiences.
- Experience analysing learning data, metrics and reporting.
- Ability to engage with stakeholders from shop floor to director level.
- Experience working with international teams.
- Highly organised, structured, and able to deliver with urgency.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and acting independently.
Desirable
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Experience using JIRA or Confluence.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System.
- Knowledge of EnableNow or RISE training tools.
