Expleo is working closely with a globally renowned Automotive OEM in Central London to recruit a highly creative Automotive Colour Designer. In this role, you will deliver modern, innovative colour and material design solutions for new vehicle programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creative Design: Research and develop visual concept proposals in collaboration with the Global Colour Group, bringing a unique and innovative perspective. Initiate and develop design themes while maintaining the integrity of the design brief. Use the latest design tools to illustrate proposals effectively. Research, develop, and propose innovative materials or finishes with suppliers, ensuring feasibility and cost targets. Communicate design concepts clearly and maintain exceptional visual presentation standards.
- Project Management: Mentor peers to enhance creativity and efficiency within the design team. Independently lead colour projects from initial exploration through to final release. Participate in project planning meetings to ensure clarity of direction. Create and manage timing plans, ensuring adherence to cost targets. Maintain regular communication with all business partners and stakeholders. Stay fully engaged with overall project requirements.
