Are you an Automotive Project Engineer with a background in Body or Trim Development, looking to join a leading Research and Development Team for a major automotive manufacturer?

One of the worlds largest automotive OEM\’s, is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer, to deliver Body (BIW) and Trim parts – including acoustic and aerodynamic related parts, to cost, quality and timing targets, based in Bedfordshire, on a contract basis.
Duties of the Body Engineer include:-
Automotive Body Part development
Support design activities
Lead validation and adoption
Cost performance management & cost optimisation
Benchmarking
Knowledge, Skills & Experience required for the Body Engineer role:-
Ideally Degree Educated or equivalent industry experience
A background within the Automotive industry
Experience of body development for mass production
Knowledge of managing Crash / NVH / Stiffness of body in white
Experience of working with BIW pressings and assembly, and trim parts
Supplier Management
NX-CAD Skill to review 3D-data / Drawing
Valid driving license
