Expleo is a global engineering, technology and consulting organisation, partnering with world leading automotive manufacturers to deliver innovation, quality and performance. We are seeking experienced Dimensional Systems Engineers to join our team, on a contract basis in Wolverhampton, supporting a major OEM programme and ensuring best in class dimensional quality from concept through launch.
In this role, you will take full responsibility for the Dimensional Quality lifecycle—covering feasibility, measurement strategy, tolerancing, tooling alignment, build support and dimensional maturation for new vehicle programmes. You’ll work at the cutting edge of automotive body structures and assembly systems, influencing design and driving product excellence.
Background and skills required for the Dimensional Systems Engineer:
- Strong background in Dimensional Engineering, ideally within the automotive sector
- Proficiency in GD&T, CATIA V6, tolerance analysis and measurement systems
- Experience with BIW, closures or automotive assembly systems
- Problem-solver with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced Agile environment and support onsite build phases
