Expleo is working closely with a globally renowned Automotive OEM in Central London to recruit a highly creative Automotive Designer on a contract basis. In this role, you will create forward-thinking exterior and interior concepts, driving breakthrough ideas that shape products and experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and develop visual concept proposals in collaboration with the Global Colour Group, bringing a unique and innovative perspective
- Create design proposals for concept and production vehicles
- Collaborate across global design organization
- Translate trends and insights into forward-thinking design concepts
- Deliver high-quality sketches and visualisations
- Lead clay and digital modelling development to realise designs in 3D
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design integrity through to completion
- Contribute to technical and styling reviews, maintaining design quality and feasibility
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Automotive or Industrial Design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Alias, VRED, Blender
- Strong exterior design portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical skills and process
- Significant relevant experience in OEM automotive design studios
- Experience contributing to concept and/or production vehicle development
- Strong technical knowledge of engineering constraints and ability to feedback into design proposals
- Ability to translate briefs and feedback into clear design direction
