Expleo are looking for an experienced Project Engineer within Connected Car, to join a leading Research and Development Team, for a major automotive manufacturer based in Bedfordshire, on a contract basis. If you have a passion for future vehicle development, this could be the perfect opportunity for you, as you support the development of our connected car launches.
Responsibilities of the Connected Car Project Engineer include:
- Project Management for co-ordinating cross carline projects for both on board and off board connected car and infotainment teams
- Collaboration with connected car design and test teams to define and maintain projects
- Manage and maintain cross carline development planner and ensure project engineers maintain development schedules
- Resource management for effective deployment and allocation of resources
- Preparation of reports for management
- Management of Telematics Service Providers on occasion
Background, skills and experience required for the Connected Car Project Engineer include:
- Engineering or Computer Science Degree qualified
- Project Management in the Automotive / IT Industry
- Excellent communication skills
A project management accreditation and knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronic architecture is desirable but not essential.
