Are you an Electrical Test Engineer, looking to join a leading Research and Development Team for a major automotive manufacturer? Do you have a passion for future vehicle development?
If so, Expleo have an opportunity for you! One of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers is currently recruiting for an Electrical Test Engineer to support the Electrical & Electronic (EE) Test team. Based in Bedfordshire. You will be working within a dedicated and enthusiastic team of Electrical Engineers on a rolling contract basis.
Within the role of Test Engineer you will primarily be responsible for:
• Management of electrical reliability tests relating to various Body Electronics systems
• CAN architecture and network testing
• Support design departments and ensure the quality of component testing
• Creation of testing procedures
• Overall vehicle test technical coordination
• Technical support to the production plant and test house
To be considered for the role of Test engineer, you will ideally have the following knowledge, skills & experience:
• Ideally Degree qualified
• Understand electrical theory and the operation of electronic devices
• Knowledge of the fundamentals electromagnetics, component and vehicle EMC test requirements
• Experience of risk assessment of electrical design and generation of test plans
• Understand network communications and multiple bus principles – CAN, LIN, Ethernet
• Ability to follow system circuit diagrams and identify electrical connections
• Conversant with digital oscilloscopes, network and RF measurement equipment
• Experience in automotive electrical and electronic system development
