Electrical and Testing Engineer

Are you an Electrical Test Engineer, looking to join a leading Research and Development Team for a major automotive manufacturer? Do you have a passion for future vehicle development?
One of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers is currently recruiting for an Electrical Test Engineer to support the Electrical & Electronic (EE) Test team. You will be working within a dedicated and enthusiastic team of Electrical Engineers on a rolling contract basis.

Management of electrical reliability tests relating to various Body Electronics systems

• CAN architecture and network testing
• Support design departments and ensure the quality of component testing
• Creation of testing procedures
• Technical support to the production plant and test house

Understand electrical theory and the operation of electronic devices

• Experience of risk assessment of electrical design and generation of test plans
• Understand network communications and multiple bus principles – CAN, LIN, Ethernet
• Ability to follow system circuit diagrams and identify electrical connections
• Conversant with digital oscilloscopes, network and RF measurement equipment
• Experience in automotive electrical and electronic system development
