Expleo are working with a major Automotive Manufacturer in the UK, who are looking to recruit a number of Body Electronics Engineers to join their team on a contract basis. The roles are based at a major Automotive Research and Development facility in Bedfordshire, on a rolling contract basis. If you have a background in Body Electronics including Body Control Modules, this could be the role for you.

The Body Electronics Engineers will primarily be responsible for:

  • Application and integration of electrical and electronic components and systems
  • Validation and management of components
  • Customer Requirements Capture and creating high level specifications
  • ‘Front-line’ responsibility for Plant and Market support

To be considered for the Body Electronics Engineer roles you will hold the following skills and experience:

  • Degree educated in a relevant Engineering discipline
  • Experience with an OEM or Tier 1 supplier, within automotive electrical and electronic development
  • An understanding of electrical theory and the operation of electronic devices
  • Knowledge of hardware and software development processes
  • Project and supplier management experience
  • CAN tools and vehicle diagnostics skills
