Automotive Component Engineer - Suspension

One of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers, is currently recruiting for a Component Engineer, to help them develop unique and innovative automotive products. As a Component Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and release of suspension mechanical and hydraulic components. Based in Warwickshire, you will be supporting, a dedicated and enthusiastic team of Engineers, on a contract basis. Responsibilities of the Component Engineer include: • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to collate and agree on requirements. • Negotiating design requirements with potential suppliers. • Coordinating development activities with suppliers to finalise product specifications. • Working with Procurement to manage supplier selection processes. • Managing suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products that meet cost and attribute targets. • Delivering Gateway requirements for components within the specified process.
