Are you a Telematics Engineer looking to join a leading Research and Development Team for a major automotive manufacturer? Do you have a passion for future vehicle development? If so Expleo have the opportunity for you. We are seeking a Telematics Project Engineer, on behalf of our globally successful Automotive OEM, based in Bedfordshire, on a contract basis. The successful Engineer will be responsible for the implementation of on-board Telematics systems, whilst collaborating with connected car design and test teams. Responsibilities of the Telematics Engineer include: * Generation and release of TCU configuration data * Managing suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery targets * Coordination of in house and supplier TCU validation * Project manage on board and off board connected car and infotainment teams * Collaboration with Telematics Service Providers, ensuring their development schedules are aligned Background and experience required for the Telematics Engineer position: * You will ideally be degree educated * Experience of Telematics hardware, systems and knowledge of vehicle connectivity. * Understanding of mobile network infrastructure and data transfer Knowledge of 5G technologies, non-European mobile networks, MQTT, End to End System architecture and an understanding in European Ecall regulations is desirable.
