Are you currently looking for a new career opportunity within Automotive Auditing? Are you keen to work within an Automotive OEM? If so, Expleo have the opportunity for you! Expleo Engineering are seeking a Head of Audit to support the improvement of the vehicle auditing, the management of systems working towards a zero repeat issue culture. This will be a permanent role based at our clients site in South Wales.
Responsibilities
- Improving all areas of operations including quality, inspection, standardised work, cost and people development.
- Running an efficient complete vehicle audit process (static and dynamic) holding problem owners to account for the robust closure of issues found to ensure zero repeat issues.
- Managing Audit feedback sessions with all responsible areas of the business.
- Motivating, supporting, and leading the team through coaching and mentoring.
- Monitoring team local budgetary spend on overtime, tooling, and other consumable type items.
Qualifications
- Experience in the Automotive Industry and Vehicle Assembly/Construction.
- Proven experience in a supervisory/leadership role within a production/manufacturing environment.
- In‐line and final vehicle Audit experience essential (CAL/AMCPA), with general knowledge of ISO9001.
- Experience in gap and flush, paint and general automotive inspection tools and techniques.
- Able to physically investigate vehicle issues, including some assembly/dis‐assembly if required.
- Proven ability of team development and team motivation.
