This opportunity would suit an experienced Home Manager in elderly residential care homes. You will be motivated to focus on quality and occupancy. The home is easily accessible from major transport routes and via public transport and has a committed Deputy Manager and team.

What you'll do:
- Day to day running of the care home, supporting the Care Team in care matters, providing excellent resident care, proactively seeking new residents, managing operational and financial controls, managing staff, managing financial controls, managing the work environment, maintaining audits, meeting requirements of the organisation and regulating bodies.
What you'll bring:
- NVQ4/5 qualification ideally.
- Good general secondary education to GCSE or equivalent is desirable.
- Strong, supportive and clear leadership skills, team working skills and staff management experience.
- Sound management experience in a Care/Healthcare environment ideally an elderly residential care home.
- Knowledge of health, safety and welfare and drug administration protocols.
- Previous experience working within a Care Home is essential.
- A good understanding and experience of CQC and current regulatory requirements.
- Experience of working with those with dementia.
- Excellent understanding of Mental Capacity Act and Best Interest Decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills i.e. must be able to complete detailed reports and implement detailed procedures.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Must be flexible and be able to prioritise work.
