A leading international engineering consultancy is seeking a Mechanical Discipline Lead to join its growing data centre team. This is a critical hire, supporting a high-priority project set to launch in Western Denmark. The successful candidate will play a central role in design delivery, project coordination, and cross-functional collaboration across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical design scopes from concept to detailed design and implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with Design Managers and project engineers across multiple offices.
  • Represent the mechanical function in client-facing and internal technical discussions.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-performance, integrated solutions.
  • Provide technical oversight, quality assurance, and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Support planning and execution of early-stage project activities and mobilisation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in mechanical design engineering within data centre projects (medium to large scale preferred).
  • Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Expertise in mechanical systems relevant to data centres (e.g., HVAC, cooling systems).
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and coordination skills.
