Responsibilities
- Manage 2–3 small to medium schemes valued at approximately £15M–£20M, with a portfolio potentially including 9–10 concurrent schemes.
- Oversee projects involving cleanroom construction, ensuring adherence to regulatory and quality standards.
- Support CapEx programmes in pharmaceutical, life sciences, and small data centre projects.
- Apply mechanical expertise to projects involving process water and process gasses systems.
- Maintain a holistic view across multiple projects to support the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in decision-making.
- Act as a key point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing project delivery and resource allocation.
- Strengthen the senior leadership function in a rapidly growing company, providing strategic insight and practical guidance.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing multiple projects, ideally within pharmaceutical, life sciences, or data centre sectors.
- Strong background in cleanroom construction is essential.
- Mechanical bias with practical experience in process water and process gasses systems.
- Solid understanding of CapEx programmes and financial management of multiple schemes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to provide strategic oversight while remaining detail-oriented.
- Experience working in fast-growing, dynamic environments is desirable.
