Senior Backend Engineer (Kotlin/Java) - Must be SC Cleared - £600.00 PER DAY inside IR35

• Lead Back End development efforts with a focus on Kotlin and Java technologies.

• Independently deliver high-quality, scalable solutions, ensuring smooth deployment and performance.

• Collaborate with team members and client users to enhance platform performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Propose technical and functional solutions that align with business goals and customer needs.

• Participate in architectural discussions to influence and shape the application’s direction.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to improve performance and reliability.

• Ensure that all features and improvements meet customer requirements and enhance the user experience.

Tech Stack:

• Kotlin

• Java

• Spring Boot

• Container deployment (Docker)

• AWS deployments (ECS, EKS)

• PostgreSQL (Nice to have)

• Strong experience with Kotlin and Java in production environments.

• Proven track record in AWS DevOps and product development.

• Familiarity with API design and development.

• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.

• Ability to work autonomously and within an agile team environment.

• Experience in engaging in architectural discussions and delivering scalable solutions.
