SAP Enterprise Architect with SAP PLM experience, this is a big role where you will play key part in our client's project.

We are seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Architect to lead and shape a large-scale transformation programme for a key client. This is a significant role that demands a strategic thinker who can operate confidently at senior levels, bridging the gap between business objectives and IT capabilities.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP and Engineering Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), with a strong understanding of how the Bill of Materials (BoM) is derived from the PLM landscape.

This role requires someone capable of driving architectural coherence across complex environments while engaging persuasively with both senior business stakeholders and technical IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy aligned to business goals and transformation initiatives.
• Act as the architectural lead across SAP and PLM domains, ensuring end-to-end integration and functional alignment.
• Provide clear architectural guidance on how BoMs flow from Teamcenter into the wider ERP and manufacturing landscape.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior business executives, influencing decision-making and ensuring technology alignment with strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with IT leadership and delivery teams to ensure solution architectures are viable, scalable, and align with enterprise standards.
• Create roadmaps, capability models, and reference architectures that drive transformation across business and IT.
• Assess current technology state and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure that architectural deliverables meet the organisation's governance and compliance standards.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a senior Enterprise Architect role within large-scale, complex environments.
• Strong background in SAP ERP, including its integration across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.
• Hands-on experience and deep understanding of Siemens Teamcenter and PLM environments, particularly in relation to BoM derivation and management.
• Demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and communicate with C-level stakeholders and senior leadership teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills, able to translate business needs into architecture requirements.
• Comfortable working across both business and technical domains, aligning IT capability with enterprise strategy.
• Excellent documentation and presentation skills.
• Experience within engineering or manufacturing industries is highly desirable.

Desirable

• TOGAF or other relevant architecture certifications.
• Experience with integration tools, Middleware, or API platforms.
• Understanding of digital thread, digital twin, or model-based engineering concepts.
• Background in Aerospace, Automotive, or Industrial sectors.
