Expert welcome applications for this new, permanent vacancy in the Dungiven area. This Civil Engineering Contractor has made significant steps forward in the last 24 months and accordingly, are seeking to add to their team with this role.

Job Purpose: The primary role of the Works Coordinator is to manage the assignment of tasks to civils teams and 3rd party contractors to ensure timely delivery of enabling works to meet install dates within SLA. This position is essential for ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the completion of excavation, civils installation and reinstatement work to coincide with planned/upcoming installations.
  • Identify and plan Orders requiring enabling works prior to install. Allocate to appropriate resource and complete within SLA.
  • Maintain consistent daily contact with supervisors and crews.
  • Open and close Symologys and road noticing as required for all civils and reinstatement activities.
  • Log completed works, generate reports for billing and provide photographic evidence via CRM.
  • Liaise with customers to provide updates or confirm proposed works as necessary.
  • Liaise closely with the Client to ensure all works activities are approved and logged on CRM.
  • Serve as the main point of contact each morning for civils team, engaging with on-site crews to assess ongoing activities and identify any pending requirements.

The Works Controller plays a critical role in the operational efficiency and customer satisfaction of our service. This position requires strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities to ensure the smooth execution of orders and seamless collaboration with internally and externally.

Revised Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Ensure planned works are sent for the next day before 4 pm daily.
  • Provide actual planned completion dates for all works within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Achieve an IST completion turnaround time of 5 days or less.

To guarantee ongoing progress and effectiveness of KPIs, continuous monitoring will be implemented with official reviews conducted annually, unless significant changes occur in operations.
