Expert welcome applications for this new, permanent vacancy with a prominent Residential developer, based in the Strabane area. With a number of Private & Social Housing projects due to commence in 2026, they would like to bolster their team with this new role.
Applicants will ideally have worked within the Residential sector before and duties will include:
- Preparation of construction packages, details and specifications.
- Working alongside external consultants and suppliers to complete a full tender package for the commercial, construction, sales and marketing team to work with.
- Liaise with the Social Housing associations Building Control department.
- Support the upkeep of the standard house type range, specifications and details as well as suggesting improvements for future packages and providing technical assistance to the team as required.
- Attend site-based meetings as and when required.
- Maintain up to date with legislation and regulations as well as have an understanding of future regulations that are coming into effect within the industry.
- Take minutes of meetings.
- Follow up on planning applications.
Experience, Qualifications and Skills
- Experience of working in an equivalent Architectural role within the housebuilding sector or an Architectural Practice with experience of working on residential projects.
- Ability to be able to express technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Effective communication and listening skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good administration skills.
- Works effectively to deadlines and competently works on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrate a creative flair and innovative approach to development layouts.
- Proficient IT skills.
