Expert are delighted to be working in partnership with this outstanding Main Contractor who are prominent in many Construction sectors in Northern Ireland. Due to the continued growth and expansion of the company, they have an opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team in Maghera.
Location: Maghera
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: Competitive, Negotiable depending on experience
Role Function:
- Purchase Ledger Supplier Rec completed in a timely fashion.
- Monthly supplier payments.
- Reconciliations of Nominal Ledgers to P&L and BS.
- Investigation of costs that fall outside acceptable parameters.
- Run Commercial Reports for all Projects.
- Working with PL Manager on current KPIs reporting and developing them to include more timely reporting on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Assisting with producing Management Accounts.
The person:
- A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar position, ideally purchase ledger focused and within the Construction (or related) sector.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software - SAGE.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Team player with can do attitude.
- Excited to work in a constantly evolving business environment, where growth and strong employee led culture is central and of key priority.
