Due to sustained and continued growth, our Client are seeking to recruit an experienced Payroll Executive to join their Payroll team to support department payroll operations ensuring their team are paid accurately, on time and in accordance with UK legislation and company policies. The Payroll Executive will be responsible for the end-to-end processing and administration of weekly and monthly payrolls across the business, ensuring accurate payroll records, statutory compliance and timely reporting. Working closely with Finance, HR, managers and employees, the role will provide a high-quality payroll service while identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems and controls as the organisation continues to grow. The successful candidate will have strong UK payroll expertise, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion. Experience within a high-volume manufacturing or production environment is highly desirable. About this role Main Responsibilities: Ownership of the end-to-end processing of weekly and monthly UK payrolls, ensuring employees are paid accurately and within agreed deadlines. Process payroll for hourly paid and salaried employees, including overtime, shift allowances, deductions, statutory payments and other payroll adjustments. Maintain accurate employee payroll records and ensure all payroll changes are appropriately authorised and documented. Ensure payroll is processed in accordance with current UK legislation, HMRC requirements and company policies. Calculate and process statutory payments and deductions, including PAYE, National Insurance, pension contributions, student loan deductions and other applicable deductions.
