Expert Construction are working with this prominent Main Contractor in Omagh to recruit a Health & Safety Officer. . This role will be based in the Head Office but will involve travel to sites throughout NI and the Border counties. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years experience and be NEBOSH qualified. Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, responsibilities will include but not limited to: Assist the HSEQ Manager maintaining the Integrated Management System. Assist the HSEQ Manager development and implement policies and procedures. Managing the engagement of sub-contractors, ensuring insurances and training is in date. Carry out inductions for new employees and site staff. Conduct onsite inspections and audits - Report findings and liaise with the HSEQ Manager to rectify issues. Support the site teams with all aspects of HSEQ requirements. Assist the HSEQ Manager conducting incident, accident and near miss reporting Attend site coordination meetings. Create and develop HSEQ documentation - CPHSP, ERP, TMP, RAMS, COSHH Assessments, TBTs, Permits, etc... Experienced required: NEBOSH Qualified necessary A Construction related qualification desirable Previous Construction Contractor experience is desirable Direct experience of working on site or supporting project related Health & Safety Commercial Awareness Excellent communication skills and be an analytical problem solver Strong IT skills Full Driving Licence Working Schedule - Monday to Friday Salary & Benefits will be discussed when your CV has been considered.
