Expert are delighted to be working in partnership with this Omagh based Main Contractor who have been established for over 20 years. Projects include New builds, Refurbishments, Groundworks & Demolition and they have an excellent reputation in NI. All projects are NI Based also.
Reporting directly to the MD, the Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for:
- Carrying out site inspections / audits with photographic evidence and documented report
- Ensuring that all health and safety procedures are being adhered to
- Issuing H&S Templates to the internal team
- Monitor and report on site Accidents and incidents and report through internal procedures
- Support and advise on H&S Management and compliance
- Work with department managers to implement a H&S culture
- Promote a proactive H&S approach/attitude among employees and site staff
- Support the Managing Director in developing / improving a healthy Health & Safety culture.
Experience required:
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualified
- At least 3-5 years experience in a H&S role within the Construction industry.
- Desirable to have experience of Commercial & refurb schemes
- IT literate with excellent communication skills
All projects will be based in Northern Ireland. Excellent package and terms on offer to the successful candidate.
