Expert welcome applications for this new, permanent role based in Eglinton. This Client are seeking to grow their Warehouse team with a talented, enthusiastic individual. This role is immediately available. As a forklift/Warehouse Operative, you will play an important part in ensuring customer orders are picked accurately, deliveries are loaded efficiently and goods are received and stored correctly. You will work as part of a busy warehouse team helping to maintain the high level of service our customers expect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Picking customer orders accurately and preparing for dispatch.
  • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Receiving incoming deliveries and checking goods against delivery notes.
  • Putting stock away in the correct warehouse locations.
  • Carrying out regular stock checks and assisting with stock control.
  • Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided if required).
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe warehouse environment.
  • Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
  • Forklift licence is an advantage but not essential, as training can be provided.
