Expert Construction welcome applications for this CAD Technician / Designer role. Based in Limavady, this company have enjoyed significant growth over the last 5 years and are seeking to add to their Design team with this role.
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Reporting to the Senior Designer to work with the Design Team to design and produce in line with project specifications.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help to produce drawings for client approval.
- To help generate production drawings for the Manufacturing team.
- To generate programming files for our automated factory equipment.
- To produce job sheets and cutting lists.
- To be involved in preparing design and drawing packs for site teams, external suppliers and customers.
- To liaise and coordinate with other departments, clients, architects, and contractors on a daily basis.
HEALTH & SAFETY: To be familiar with and fully comply with all relevant health and safety legislation and guidelines. To apply a high personal standard of housekeeping, operating safety equipment and using safe working habits at all times.
OTHER: To carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time, ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of the business.
Overview: skills and experience
- Competent level of Education in a relevant discipline.
- 1 year Design Office experience would be beneficial.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office packages.
- Knowledge of MiTek is desirable.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong Attention to Detail.
