We are looking for a new Paraplanner to join our friendly team. You will be working for a B-Corp certified Independent Financial Adviser firm who hold Chartered Financial Planner and CISI Accredited Firm status. You will be joining a small team looking after the financial planning needs of around 300 client families.
As Paraplanner, you will be responsible for providing high quality support and ensuring complete and accurate records are maintained. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional levels of service to clients. This is a great opportunity for a highly competent and qualified Paraplanner with exceptional technical and inter-personal skills to become an integral part of the team. You will have the opportunity to develop your role around your own skill set and to play an important role in our exciting future.
Skills Required:
- Minimum Diploma Level (Level 4) qualified, preferably Advanced Diploma (Level 6)
- Opportunity to take further exams/training with an expectation to advance towards Level 7 (Certified Financial Planner)
- Strong knowledge of all investment, life and pension products, legislation and compliance
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent administrative, research, report writing and communication skills
We will consider applicants that are part way through their training or recently qualified.
Job Description:
- Working as part of a small team of Paraplanners in supporting the Financial Planners and Client Relationship Managers
- Analysis of clients' circumstances and requirements to develop financial plans using Voyant and Timeline cash flow modelling tools
- Completing suitability reports
- Participating in the Investment Committee and working with external third parties for delivery of our investment strategies and due diligence processes
- Research, analysis and compiling documentation for Financial Planners and compliance
- Assisting in client meetings
- Maintain the workflow alongside the team to provide a timely and accurate service to clients and Financial Planners
- Maintaining and developing our back-office systems (Intelligent Office), managing workflows and assisting in the processing of business
- Provide an efficient, friendly and professional point of contact for clients and enquiries by phone, email and in person
