Our client, a global leader in the agricultural and fresh produce sector specialising in a vertically integrated "seed-to-shelf" supply chain, is looking for a Sales Administrator to join their UK sales team. In this role, you will act as a central link between global inventory functions and UK commercial activities, focusing on the technical and analytical side of sales support. You will ensure stock levels are accurately monitored and that sales forecasts are precisely communicated to production teams. We are looking for a professional who thrives in a methodical, data-driven environment and is comfortable handling the logistical complexities of a high-volume supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Support the sales team with planning, costing, and the facilitation of customer orders.
- Liaise with global inventory inbound functions and the UK sales team to monitor orders from source.
- Maintain accurate daily availability data for customers by tracking UK stock holdings.
- Conduct sales forecasting at 5–6 week intervals and provide detailed reports to the production team.
- Communicate with planning teams across diverse commercial sectors, including major retailers and catering companies.
- Manage financial administrative tasks, including capturing service charges and processing supplier returns.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 -3 years of experience in a sales support, logistics, or retail planning role, with 3–5 years preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel (including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and data cleaning).
- Proven experience working within an ERP environment (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Experience in the fresh produce, FMCG, or agriculture industry is highly preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to provide basic office IT support when necessary.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Borehamwood.
