We are looking for a hands-on Wireman, Cable Assembler to join a busy manufacturing and engineering environment. This role involves building and wiring control panels, cable assemblies, and wiring looms to a high standard, working from technical drawings and wiring schematics.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and assemble cable looms, wiring harnesses, and cable assemblies
- Carry out panel wiring and control panel builds
- Work from schematics, wiring diagrams, and build instructions
- Perform crimping, soldering, terminating, and routing cables
- Conduct continuity testing and basic electrical testing
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications
- Work to production deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Support fault finding and rework where required
