Visual Studio .Net Software Engineer

Key Technologies: Visual Studio, .Net (C# and/or VB), C/C++

Application and Systems Developer required to design and implement equipment interface applications and information processing recovered from complex robotic instruments.

Key Experience Required:

1. Windows development experience of Visual Studio .Net (C# and/or VB) and C/C++
2. Interfacing with hardware, embedded development, and protocols
3. BSc or equivalent in Computer Science or related Engineering/Scientific subject
4. Windows Forms (Winforms) applications
5. Agile software development methodologies or equivalent
6. Source control systems such as Subversion/Git
7. Continuous integration / continuous delivery systems
8. Interfacing techniques and communication protocols

You will work across the whole software lifecycle, from capturing requirements, developing code, controlling equipment, analysing results, supporting users of the final software, and the practical application of the results.

Duties:

1. Software development, designing and developing solutions for acquiring data, controlling equipment, logging, and analysing results
2. To participate in technical reviews such as code review and document reviews
