The Facilities Technicians are responsible for developing, providing and maintaining a high standard of building energy and manufacturing services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement planned preventative maintenance.
  • This may entail working with approved contractors to arrange for them to come to site to conduct the work.
  • Carry out day-to-day reactive repair and maintenance tasks across all buildings where required and within individual competence
  • Raise order requests with approved service suppliers and contractors.
  • Quotations to be passed to the Facilities Manager and on approval to the Facilities Administrator for SAP submission.
  • Ensure electronic databases and files are updated with completed work on a daily basis

Skills

  • Recognized electrical qualification such as to IEE wiring regulations or Part P Electrical Safety
  • Relevant industrial experience gained by providing facility maintenance in a manufacturing workplace
  • Electrical maintenance experience.
  • Mechanical maintenance experience advantageous.
  • HVAC experience advantageous
  • Driving license required
