This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on lab experience in a global organisation, with potential for a permanent role. We are looking for a Graduate Laboratory Technician to support laboratory operations within a global energy company.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out quality control testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
- Support routine lab operations.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Help investigate and resolve quality issues.
- Record and manage lab data using SAP systems.
- Investigate and report quality issues.
- Support calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.
- Assist with product trials and new introductions.
- Follow strict health, safety, and quality procedures.
Requirements
- Degree or HNC in a science or chemistry-related subject.
- Some lab experience preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
- Flexible and willing to work shifts.
Working Pattern
Initially day shifts, then rotating shift pattern after training. The role is initially offered on a three-month temporary basis to cover annual leave and other absences. However, there is a strong possibility of a permanent position becoming available, making this a great opportunity for longer-term progression.
