Requirements
Mechanical fitter with practical hands on engineering skills.
Chemical rocket engineering knowledge.
Attention to detail
BSc degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical / Aerospace Engineering or Physics
Industrial experience ideally designing and developing rocket engines, fluidic control systems, and space standard engineering.
Spacecraft chemical propulsion experience would be useful but is not essential.
General interest in space and space related propulsion.
Role
Review and interpret higher level Test Plan requirements and propulsion system specification.
Design Verification Compliance Matrix against the test plan.
Work on rocket engines and thrusters, fluidic control systems and space standard engineering.
Perform test equipment setup including key component identification.
Work across Test Site Propellant, Pressurant feed systems, Ground Support Equipment, design, Electrical Ground Support Equipment Design and software tools.
Procure, fabricate and assemble Test Site Propellant and Pressurant feed systems, GSE and EGSE.
Generate Test Procedures
Deliver test result data to design engineering teams
