Junior Backend Developer

An innovative tech company in the construction tech space is on a mission to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and waste across the global concrete supply chain. This is a junior position within the software team, offering hands-on development experience while supporting field operations. You will work closely with fitters during deployments (often during evenings or weekends) and gradually grow into backend development using AWS services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support on-site teams during installations
2. Update systems based on field input
3. Edit geofences and assist with backend event-driven systems

Key Skills:

1. Two years of experience with TypeScript or Python
2. Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent training)
3. Strong attention to detail and independent working style
4. Excellent communication and documentation skills
5. Experience with AWS (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Athena)
6. Familiarity with Linux BASH, Confluence, JIRA
