This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on lab experience in a global organisation, with potential for a permanent role. We are looking for a Graduate Laboratory Technician to support laboratory operations within a global energy company.
You will carry out quality control testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet required standards. You will also support routine lab operations, maintain accurate records, and help investigate and resolve quality issues.
Key Responsibilities- Perform QC testing on materials and products
- Record and manage lab data using SAP systems
- Investigate and report quality issues
- Support calibration and maintenance of lab equipment
- Assist with product trials and new introductions
- Follow strict health, safety, and quality procedures
- Degree or HNC in a science or chemistry-related subject
- Some lab experience preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team
- Flexible and willing to work shifts
Initially day shifts, then rotating shift pattern after training. The role is initially offered on a three month temporary basis to cover annual leave and other absences. However, there is a strong possibility of a permanent position becoming available, making this a great opportunity for longer-term progression.
