Responsibilities
- Support in test activities across all hot fire and environmental test facilities.
- Ensure comprehensive understanding and knowledge of all aspects of the firing sites, including site preparation, fuel and oxidiser handling, pressure systems, instrumentation, control systems, space thruster theory, steam boiler operation, data analysis, site and system safety.
- Develop test, maintenance, and setup procedures for all test activities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in mechanical fitting, preferably attained through completion of an apprenticeship or relevant experience within an engineering-oriented environment.
- Ideally holds qualifications equivalent to a graduate-level course in a related engineering field from OU or similar institutions.
