Leading space vehicle manufacturer that designs, manufactures, and tests main rocket engines and thrusters, and they’re on the lookout for an experienced Quality Engineer to join them.

Qualifications

  1. Degree or HND in a relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience.
  2. Background in Quality Engineering, preferably within the space industry.
  3. Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO9001 standards.
  4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to understand technical documentation.
  5. Experience with quality management techniques and standard audit processes.

Requirements

  1. Review customer requirements and generate compliance statements during bid and contract phases.
  2. Create and manage customer deliverable documentation.
  3. Represent us at key customer reviews (MPCB, MRR, TRR, DRB).
  4. Resolve supplier non-conformances and review supplier data for specification and quality compliance.
  5. Drive non-conformance resolutions and prevent recurrence, aiming for better future performance.
  6. Review manufacturing and test data for completeness and compliance, generate End Item Data Packs (EIDPs).
  7. Support internal AS9100 compliance and supply chain audits.
