We are looking for an Aerospace Tooling Design Engineer to design and improve production tooling and fixtures within a specialist aerospace and engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop tooling and fixtures using CAD (Creo).
- Create detailed engineering drawings in line with standards.
- Work closely with manufacturing and process engineers to improve production quality, efficiency and costs.
- Develop prototypes, test designs and validate new tooling.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- Degree or HNC in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related subject.
- At least three years of experience in manufacturing or production processes.
- CAD design experience or knowledge of Creo is advantageous.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively with different teams.
