Job Title: Windows 11 Deployment Technician Location: London (Liverpool Street Station) Contract Length: 2 months Start Date: ASAP Shift Hours: 15:00 - 11:30 (includes 1-hour break) 37.5hpw Rate: 19.72ph Umbrella Overview: We are looking for a Windows 11 Deployment Technician to join a high-performing team supporting a large-scale desktop rollout project at a leading UK bank. This is a hands-on, desk-side deployment role that requires strong technical skills, reliability, and excellent communication. Key Responsibilities: Deploy Windows 11 desktop devices to end users at their desks Validate end-user data through in-person desk-side checks Decommission and return legacy hardware to central collection points Maintain accurate and timely nightly reporting (deployment totals, success/failure reasons) Coordinate with logistics teams as needed for equipment handling Maintain a high standard of professionalism while working on-site in a regulated environment Key Skills & Experience: Strong experience with Windows 10/11 deployments in enterprise environments Previous deployment experience in a UK banking or financial services environment preferred Ability to work overnight or late shifts on-site Good attention to detail and clear reporting/documentation skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, structured deployment team Able to manage time and tasks independently within a set daily target (~6 deployments per shift) Additional Information: On-site only (no remote work) All necessary equipment will be provided on-site Must be eligible to work in the UK and available to start immediately
