Requirements
- Fully certified CCNP is necessary.
- Around 5+ years of recent network / infrastructure engineering experience.
- Strong Windows Server and Active Directory experience.
- Good firewall knowledge.
- Experience working with Azure.
- Broad enterprise infrastructure experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable remaining technically hands-on.
- Full driving licence.
- A current CCNP qualification would be beneficial, although recent practical Cisco experience is more important than certification alone.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain our Cisco network infrastructure.
- Provide 3rd line support across server and network environments.
- Work with LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi technologies, IP telephony systems, firewalls, and systems architecture.
- Support Hyper-V, Microsoft 365 / Azure, backup technologies, and Active Directory.
- Support Windows Server and Active Directory technologies.
- Support Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Manage and troubleshoot firewalls and wider network security technologies.
- Support backup, recovery, and core infrastructure services.
- Investigate incidents and complete root-cause analysis.
- Assist with infrastructure upgrades, projects, and continuous improvement activity.
- Work closely with wider IT teams and third-party suppliers where required.
