We are currently recruiting a number of Field Support Engineers / Field Technicians to support a nationwide technology deployment and support programme across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with experience in Field Support, EPOS, Desktop Support, Hardware Deployment, Telecoms, Break/Fix Services, or Onsite IT Support who enjoy working independently, travelling between customer locations, and delivering high levels of service.
You will follow a structured checklist, assess installed equipment, replace hardware where instructed, and escalate any complex technical issues to the dedicated support team. The role typically involves visiting approximately three stores per day and offers a great opportunity to work on a large-scale national project.
- Verify installed routers and associated networking equipment
- Check body-worn camera devices, charging docks, and batteries
- Record asset information, serial numbers, and site data accurately
- Complete digital reports and service documentation
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing field-based role
- Basic IT, networking, and hardware troubleshooting skills
- A full UK driving licence
