Overview
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Test Architect to play a critical role in shaping and leading the testing strategy for complex, Oracle-based systems. This position will be instrumental in defining best practices, ensuring quality across delivery, and driving innovation in testing approaches across large-scale programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the overall test strategy and architecture across multiple workstreams
- Lead the design and execution of non-functional testing, including:
- Performance Verification Testing (PVT)
- Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT)
Key Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in a Test Architect or senior test leadership role
- Strong experience in non-functional testing, particularly PVT and OAT
- Demonstrable expertise in testing Oracle-based systems and databases
- Ability to design and implement test automation frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with experience evaluating systems from an end-to-end perspective
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
Desirable
- Experience writing high-performance SQL for test data management
- Proficiency in Python for test automation and tooling
- Experience with JMeter for performance testing
- Familiarity with IBM MQ and messaging systems
