Our client, a leading organisation in the IT sector, is seeking a dedicated Commercial Support to join their team in Basingstoke. This is an excellent opportunity to support strategic contract management, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation across multiple projects.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead contract management, negotiations, and statements of work for governance approval.
- Collaborate with legal, sales, delivery, procurement, and finance teams to meet business objectives.
- Maintain contract documentation, ensuring adherence to governance policies.
- Support contract change processes, including templates for SOWs and change orders.
- Provide contract support for ongoing activities, including reporting and customer meetings.
- Stay informed on IT law, GDPR, and commercial legislation to ensure compliance.
- Assist in developing team members and improving contract management processes.
- Engage early with legal and commercial teams during contract negotiations and disputes.
- Produce risk assessments, reports, and maintain accurate contract records.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in contract management within the IT or commercial sectors.
- Strong understanding of legal, commercial, and data protection legislation.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
